CONDUIT Candles are made with 100% premium, non-GMO, vegan soy, ethically and sustainably sourced from the heart of the Midwest, USA. This eco-friendly, biodegradable soy reflects our commitment to both exceptional quality and environmental responsibility. Our wax is infused with premium oils to craft fragrances that are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic.
All of our materials are free from carcinogens, mutagens, parabens, dyes, and phthalates, ensuring a clean burn and a refined sensory experience.
Q: Is CONDUIT eco-friendly?

Q: How can I sample candle scents before purchasing?
Starting summer 2025, CONDUIT Candles will be available in select boutiques across Minneapolis and the surrounding suburbs—stay tuned! In the meantime, we offer a FREE scent palette so you can experience our fragrances before choosing your candle—just cover the shipping cost.
Q: What type of wicks are used in your candles? Do I need to trim them?
Every CONDUIT candle features cotton and paper filament wicks, free from metal, zinc, lead, or paraffin coatings. Designed to self-curl, they naturally minimize mushrooming, soot, and afterglow after the flame is extinguished—ensuring a cleaner burn and a more refined experience.
Since our wicks are crafted to self-trim, there’s no need to cut them! They’re engineered for a slow, even burn with minimal maintenance, so you can enjoy a clean, consistent flame every time. (Read more on our Candle Care page.)
Q: What is the recommended burn time for the candle? What about tunneling?
CONDUIT recommends a burn time of 2-4 hours to ensure an even burn and prevent tunneling. It’s normal for melted wax not to immediately reach the edges of your candle—that’s part of the design! The belief that it must is a myth. Our wicks are crafted for an optimal burn, gradually melting the remaining wax without flooding or leaving excess residue. Q: Why does the surface of my candle look bumpy after burning?
It’s completely normal for soy candles to develop a rough or uneven texture after cooling. This natural characteristic does not affect the quality, scent throw, or performance of your candle—just a small reminder that you’re enjoying a clean, additive-free burn.
Q: How long do CONDUIT candles last, and how do I know when it’s time to stop burning?
Each CONDUIT candle has an approximate burn time of 70+ hours. To ensure safety and optimal performance, discontinue use when about 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Burning a candle with little to no wax left can cause the vessel to overheat.
Q: Can one candle effectively fragrance my entire home?
It depends on the size and layout of your space! A single CONDUIT candle can fill most rooms with fragrance, but for larger or open-concept areas, consider adding a second candle to create the ideal ambience.
