In the summer of 2024, after 15 years in the corporate world of science, I found myself on an unexpected path—one that led me back to what has always lit me up: creating. Whether performing on stage or making something new with my daughter, I’ve always found joy in bringing ideas to life. It’s where I feel most like myself.
Some of my favorite childhood memories involve melting down broken crayons into candles or wandering store aisles in search of a scent that felt like me. Looking back, I realize that life has a way of bringing us home to the things that have always mattered.
I’ve always been fascinated by fragrance—how scent has the power to transport us, shift our emotions, and unlock cherished memories. Our sense of smell is directly linked to the brain’s limbic system, where emotions and memories reside. That’s why a single fragrance can stir something deep within us, creating a sense of connection—not just to a moment, but to the people who share in it.
Just as a conduit enlightens others, guiding them toward fulfillment, I saw fragrance as a way to do the same—helping people connect with their emotions, their spaces, and each other. This insight became the foundation of CONDUIT Candles—a collection designed to set the tone, inspire self-discovery, and elevate spaces where fulfillment naturally unfolds.
Each candle in the CONDUIT collection is hand-poured in small batches in my home in Minnesota, using only premium, non-toxic ingredients—no parabens, no phthalates, no dyes, and absolutely no harmful additives. Just clean-burning, cruelty-free soy wax and thoughtfully blended fragrances to elevate the ambience of everyday living.
More than just candles, CONDUIT is about connection—to self, to others, to meaningful moments, and to the memories yet to be made.
